(Khalil Dorsey, of Colony High, is the #1 Cornerback in the Inland Empire as well as one of the best track athletes in California. Mr. Dorsey and will be blog for IE Preps Magazine throughout his senior season.)
My summer consisted of phasing out my rigorous track workouts and transitioning into my football program which was hard training up to three times a day. I would wake up in the morning and go to the gym, then I would have football practice all afternoon. After practice I would call up colony alumni (my brother and friends) to help me out in the weight room so I would drive back to the gym. I take all my training seriously and treat my practice like games and I try hard not to come off the field during football training.
Recruiting has been fun learning experience that has resulted in two offers so far for football. Our team’s goal like everyone’s goal is to have a successful year. My personal goal is to go D1 and get my degree and my dream is to go D1 on a full scholarship and play both football and run track.
