IE Preps Magazine Softball Stars: Bianca Diamond

When it comes to the sport of high school softball, the Inland Empire is home to some of the best players in the nation every year. For example NCAA National Champion Oklahoma Sooner stars Kinzie Hansen of Norco and Taylon Snow of Chino Hills were both ranked the #1 players in the nation in their respective classes. The IE is home to a wealth of talented players. In this first entry on our series on talented IE softball players, we start off with the talented Bianca Diamond of Summit High School in Fontana.

Bianca Diamond

Bianca Diamond of Summit is what you call a “jewel” of a find. Diamond plays travel ball for the Ohana Tigers. Bianca is a dynamic outfielder, with athleticism, and a healthy batting average that stays well above .500 plus. Bianca is poised to make her senior year at Summit a breakthrough season for her program. Having made All Sunkist League league since her freshman year, Bianca has quietly worked her game to be one of the top players in the area. Diamond has only made two errors in three seasons and she may be the best lead off hitter in IE high school softball.

Bianca Diamond ready for her senior season

This summer Bianca had the opportunity to represent the USA and play against international teams. It was a great experience for Bianca and helped her build confidence that she could play softball against the best prep athletes in the world. This is not hype, Bianca Diamond is by far one of the best softball players in the Class of 2022. Colleges coaches will have plenty of competition to get her to join their program. For Bianca Diamond, the best is yet to come.
