IE Softball: Madison Lourenco of Summit

Madison Lourenco is a class of 2022 catcher for Summit High School. Madison is a power-hitting catcher and utility that is always ready to perform. Despite two seasons being impacted by Covid, Madison has not let that stop her momentum. As a freshman, Madison lead her entire league in RBIs and has maintained an over 400 batting average throughout her career.

Madison also plays for the Ohana Tigers Gold and has made sure that her game has only improved during her time in club ball. The class of 2022 is full of dynamic talent, but Madison is not to be left out or forgotten as a potential difference-maker at the collegiate level.

Madison may be a new face to IE Preps Magazine, but being a great athlete and student, run in her bloodline as she is the cousin of Saint Lucy‘s volleyball stand out and IE Preps Magazine cover athlete Keilani Mumolo. This senior season summit will have not just the talent to make a huge run in CIF but also now have the experience to make a major push towards a league and CIF title. Madison Lourenco is ready for her moment in 2022, to be a name to watch in the IE high school softball scene.
